Overdraft Transfer Service
Help protect your checking account from becoming overdrawn by automatically transferring available funds from a linked savings or Money Market account, or a different checking account, when you don’t have enough money to cover a transaction.
How overdraft transfer service works
Sign up for our Overdraft Transfer Service in the Civic app and link your designated Civic deposit account to help cover insufficient funds in your checking account. If there’s not enough money in your account to cover transactions, we’ll automatically move funds from your linked account to cover a negative balance.
You avoid an insufficient funds charge (NSF) and will pay only $0.50 for each transfer, up to your available balance in the account you’ve chosen to cover. You may also apply for an overdraft line of credit from which transfers are made in increments of $50 up to available limits. Whether you’re caught off guard by an unexpected expense or simply forget to manually transfer funds, this service helps provide an extra layer of protection to avoid declined transactions.

Here are a few FAQs
How do I set up direct deposit?
Getting started with direct deposit can be as easy as providing your account number and the Civic routing number (253184537).
Many employers and government entities that provide direct deposit payments will have their own paperwork, so it is vital to check with them first. If there is no set form required by the paying entity and the requirement is only to submit your request in writing, then simply download and complete the Civic Direct Deposit Authorization Form.
