Danielle Abbott serves as Chief Operations Officer at Civic, bringing more than 15 years of experience working with cooperatives — more than 13 of these within the credit union movement. Throughout her career, she has held key roles across multiple areas of the organization, including membership development, marketing, technology, data, project management, and member services. This diverse background has equipped her with a deep understanding of how credit unions operate and how to align people, processes, and technology to best serve members. 

Abbott played an instrumental role as project lead for both the launch of Civic and the merger and deconversion of Local Government Federal Credit Union to Civic, demonstrating exceptional leadership in times of transformation. She is known for her ability to enhance process efficiency and for her expertise in leveraging systems and applications to streamline business operations from a holistic perspective, always with the goal of improving the member experience and advancing the cooperative mission.
